Boyle Job

Hi Jim and Lynn!!
Jim is a retired "Psychiatrist" from Manhattan, and Lynn is a Retired School Teacher!
We were a couple of days late starting this one due to some weather delays and unexpected obstacles at the previous job.
We do apologize for that. It happens occasionally, and the Boyles were real nice about it. Well,...Lynn was at least!
Jim immediately wanted to start "Analyzing" the delay!
Just kidding! Jim is a great guy and as long as we don't interfere with his "TEE TIME", I think we'll be OK on this job!!!!
He still finds time to check on us though! His house is on a fairway on the back 9, so he just WHIPS on by the job in this cool golf cart when he's playing that hole!! What a riot. I love it!

PS: Jim did a fabulous job of getting the Flagstone Paver delivery dropped right next to the Pool Cage Door, and the pavers for the front sidewalk right there for us too!!!!! 
I couldn't be there, so Jim handled that for me. 
Geez! Just perfect, and what a help and "BACK SAVER" for us! 
If you've ever de-palletized a few tons of brick pavers, you know what I'm talking about! 
Thank You! Thank You! Thank You, Jim!!!!!!

How it happened day by day!

 

 

Russell got the lanai area started.

John started laying the pool coping!

Day Two
John got the Pool Coping all down and grouted halfway around, and I'm sure our customer, Jim played golf!

Russ got a nice straight line established all the way across the pool deck, so it should be pretty smooth sailing from here!

Looks like a pretty good day 3 for the crew!
We made some decent headway, and are starting to close in on it! 
By the way, the pavers are much more vibrant than they appear in these pictures. I'll post some pictures tomorrow with a better camera that will show the true colors better!
The guys worked really hard today, and I heard Jim was working pretty hard on the golf course too!

The Boss dropped by the job again today in his pimped out golf cart!
I had to get a few pictures of it for everyone!
He lives on the 15th fairway, and I think he's hooking the ball off the tee into his backyard on purpose just so he can stop by and check on us!
If not, then I think Jim needs to install a GPS system on the cart, and buy some golf balls with a chip in the ball so he can find them!

Then again, as a "RETIRED SHRINK", from Manhattan no less, he might be playing mind games with his golfing buddies so he can win their money!

So once again, we all know what Jim did today!

Lynn on the other hand spent the day refinishing and painting a table for the new pool deck! Nice going Lynn!
Somebody has to get things done around there!

Back to the Job at Hand!
We had another good day, and it looks like we will have the pool deck and lanai ready for the party on Friday evening!

In the picture below, Russ is trying to get some free psychiatric advice from Jim!
I'm pretty sure I heard Jim say.......... 
"It's a lost cause Russell! Give it up!"

Final Day for Pool Deck and Lanai!

The party is at 6 PM tonight!
We were under the gun to get the job done!
Jim, was also feeling the pressure and had to go out and play 18 holes with Lynn in a couples tourney to relieve the stress! 
Yep, you guessed it! Lynn played great and saved the team! 
Way to go Lynn!

"Big Red", our trusty brick saw was going non stop all day long!

3:45 PM! Here's what we wound up with!

We also did the front sidewalk for Jim and Lynn, and they have signed on now to have us paver their massive driveway in December!
This one is another monster for us! 
It's a half moon shape and over 180 feet long!
We are going to do two Monograms on this one. One at each entrance!
Just a fabulous looking driveway for us paver. It's going to look awesome!
Thank you Jim and Lynn for allowing us to work for you guys, and for all the hospitality you showed us.
We are looking forward to spending a couple weeks with you again in December! 
However, be warned! We may not leave this time!
